Hope chimes in at tmes.
It can inspire the best in us
Or even a crime.
Hope is a powerful tool
If you will accept it.

It can bring warmth to the coldest of men,
Even the man who gave up all hope in time.
This man is known as
Sam McGee.

If someone were to tell him about
This little thing called hope.
Then he could still wear the smile
You could see from a mile
Instead of coal fire remains of
Sam McGee.

Hopefully this poem will sit well with you.
I know it didn't with Sam McGee.
Hope is more powerful than
The strongest of oak trees,
But they are one of same.

You must be careful to never neglect it.
